Sensei Justin Hagen has been practicing martial arts since the age of 5 years old. Beginning with ITF Tae Kwon Do in March of 1994 he would go on to compete in numerous tournaments and ultimately received his 2nd Degree Black Belt in 2002. In high school he practiced Isshin-Ryu Karate under Shihan Kim at J.H. Kim's Karate Institute in Wall, NJ and received his 2nd Degree Black Belt in 2007 before going off to college at the University of Rhode Island. 

Since 2011 Sensei Hagen practiced Muay Thai as well as American boxing, going on to compete in the 2014 Golden Gloves.  In 2015 he would reenter the karate world and began training under Kyokushin 5th Dan Shihan Roman Herman.

Currently he holds a 1st Dan in Kyokushin
